How To Book Your Session
The first step is to email me so that I can let you know my availability. My contact information can be found under the 'Contact Me' tab at the top of this page. Once we've decided on a date and time, you will book your session and pay your deposit either online via PayPal, or by mailing me a check. I will also email you a booking form, which you will need to fill out and return to me. Once I have received your booking form and deposit, you will be emailed a confirmation for your session appointment.
Location, Location, Location!
If you have a location in mind already, please let me know on your booking form. If you don't really have a location in mind, I can provide some suggestions if you can just let me know what type of settings you may like (park, woods, water, urban, etc.). My favorite locations to shoot at are places that offer beautiful natural scenery. I love shooting outdoors and prefer to do that whenever possible. Although I do have studio equipment that can be set up in my home or yours, if you prefer.
What Should You Wear?
Typically, solid colors tend to photograph the best. I would suggest avoiding plaids or stripes, as they can oftentimes be distracting in a photo. If this is a group shot, wear complementary colors and styles. You do not all have to wear the same color or shade, so long as your choices coordinate and complement one another. It is often best to keep jewelry and accessories minimal, as they can also be distracting in a photo.
Most Importantly...
Be yourself! YOU are the key to a great image. If we are doing a family or child session, bring your child's favorite toy(s), lovey, etc. If you only wear Hawaiian shirts, by all means, wear one. If you have a special prop you'd like to use in the photos, please bring it along as well.
And, Of Course... The Fine Print...
A non-refundable deposit equal to 50% of your session price is due upon booking. This will guarantee your appointment. If you need to reschedule your session for any reason, 48 hours notice must be provided. Rescheduling your session will only be allowed one time and must occur within 30 days of original appointment. The photographer reserves the right to reschedule any session due to inclement weather.
Please keep in mind that your time starts at your scheduled appointment time. If you are late, you will have a shorter session time. Additional time may be added at the price of $60 per half-hour, if the photographer's schedule permits.
