At the beginning of August, I had the privelege of photographing the wedding of these two awesome people. They chose the Chapel in the Pines at Hartwick Pines State Park in Grayling, Michigan for their venue, which couldn't have been more perfect for them. They had a beautiful, small ceremony inside the chapel followed by a laid-back dinner back at the campground. The little chapel has no electricity and very little natural light, so lighting was a challenge during the ceremony. However, it was a beautiful day outside for some wedding photographs!
The following weekend, Amber and Russ hosted a larger reception in Amber's parents' backyard for all of their extended family and friends. Amber's father made all of the centerpieces for the reception. He even carved out the newlyweds' last name into a special one for them - it was gorgeous!
