Jeff, Dawn & Natalia {Grand Haven Family Photographer}

At the end of October, I made a trip to Grand Haven for a couple of photo sessions.  Not being from Grand Haven, I relied on Dawn to select the location for their family photo shoot.  She did a wonderful job and picked an absolutely beautiful place!  She also picked some great outfits.  I love the blue and green color combo and the camouflage is a perfect representation of their family, as they love to spend time outdoors.  The camo also reflects Jeff's love for hunting.  I enjoyed hearing lots of his hunting stories and of the places he has been to hunt all sorts of different animals.  I've never been hunting myself, but am always so fascinated by the sport.  Natalia is a gorgeous gal and was a great model, even though she was freezing.  :)  What a great family!

Sean, Lina, Vayla... and a Baby Announcement!! {Williamston Family Photographer}

This is my good friend, Lina, and her family.  Aren't they a great looking fam?  Her daughter, Vayla, is such a beauty and such a girlie-girl.  She was so great about posing for the camera.  It was raining during the shoot, though, and got a little chilly outside.  So we headed inside for a few shots, where Vayla was so excited for me to meet her two kitties.  Vayla is also very excited that she will be a big sister come April!!  Congratulations again, Lina, Sean and Vayla!!  I cannot wait to meet your little girl this spring!!

Mike, Jenna, Wyatt, Estelle, Jim & Bev {Grand Blanc Family Photographer}

This is another of my October families that I had the privilege of photographing.  I just love the color combos that Jenna came up with for everyone!  Isn't it great?  I love the purple, blue, and pops of golden yellow.  So gorgeous!

These photos were taken as a Christmas gift for Jenna's parents, Jim and Bev.  We were also commemorating Estelle's first birthday!  She was so stinkin' cute!  She would do a lizard tongue on command which was simply adorable.  Her big brother Wyatt was a handsome guy and a great big brother.

I had the chance to meet this gorgeous family back in October (yes, I know I am dreadfully behind on this blog).  Aren't the boys just the cutest?  They were so fun and so full of personality and such great models!  I just love their smiles, too.  So cute!  Their matching outfits are just perfect for fall pictures, too.  And of course, Mike and Deanna look fantastic, as well!

Mark, Marci, Ben & Jack {Grand Blanc Family Photographer}

I had such a good time photographing this family.  The boys, Ben and Jack, are at such great ages and were totally into the photo shoot, which was great!  They came with practiced smiles, too, so we didn't get as many forced-looking smiles.  This all led to some beautiful pictures!  The boys kept us all laughing with their jokes and just general great spirits.  It was so fun! 

Eric, Kerri & Jace {Swartz Creek Family Photographer}

This beautiful family lives next door to me.  They are some of the best neighbors - we really are so fortunate!  I was so honored that they wanted me to take some family photos of them.  And I'm so glad they chose fall for their session.  The colors were at the perfect point on the day we went out to the woods for their photo shoot.  And I think their choice of clothing was perfect to provide such a strong contrast to the beautiful fall colors.  It really brings your eye right in on the family - right where it should be! 

It was so fun taking their pictures.  Jace is just the cutest little boy and so full of personality.  He had us all laughing through the entire shoot.  And of course, my son, Carson, was jealous that I got to go "play in the woods" with Jace and his parents when he had to stay home.  :) 

Anna, Joel & Jonah {Grand Blanc Family Photographer}

I had the opportunity to shoot some sibling photos of my niece and nephews after Anna's photo shoot.  Jonah just has the happiest little grin in all of the photos - I just love it!  And no, he is not saying "cheese" in any of these photos, that is just his joyous smile. 

Anna {Grand Blanc Child Photographer}

This is my niece, Anna.  Isn't she gorgeous?  Anna was such a natural model and was so comfortable in front of the camera.  It's hard to believe how quickly she is growing up.  She just looks so grown up in these photos.  I still think of her as a little girl, but clearly she is morphing into a beautiful young lady. 

Kevin, Rachel, Tyler, Emery, Avery, Noelle & Noah {Saranac Family Photographer}

This is my best friend's sister and her beautiful family.  These guys were a blast to shoot.  They are huge Green Bay Packers fans, so we did some fun football-themed shots which I think turned out so fun.  The last photo included in this post is my favorite, though.  Rachel said it best in her comment about this picture, "Tyler's being cool, Avery is being cheesy, Emery is trying HARD to do the right thing, Noelle is goofing off and Noah's not really paying attention. Meanwhile, Daddy is laughing and Mommy is just smiling. I love how this picture represents our personalities..."

Adam, Sara & Aiden {Michigan Lifestyle Family Photographer}

This is one of my best friends and her husband and son.  Don't they make a beautiful family?  We had so much fun shooting these lifestyle photos in Sara's parents' backyard while they were here on vacation from their home in Colorado.  I sure wish they lived closer so we could hang out and I could photograph their family more often! 

Aiden & Carson at Michigan State {East Lansing Child Photographer}

My kids and I took a drive to Michigan State University's campus to spend an afternoon with one of my best friends and her family.  I couldn't resist snapping some fun shots of the boys on campus! 

Bristol {Swartz Creek Newborn Photographer}

My daughter, Bristol, was born this summer.  Of course, I have had a lot of fun capturing photographs of this beautiful little baby.  Here are just a few of my favorites. 

Cousins! {Saranac Lifestyle Child Photographer}

I had the opportunity to shoot some photos of three darling cousins a few weeks ago.  Noelle and Noah are siblings and live here in Michigan.  They were so excited to have their cousin, Aiden, visiting from Colorado.  Noelle is such a perfect model - there was hardly a picture taken in which she wasn't fully prepared with her beautiful, bright smile just shining.  Noah is quite a little ham himself and mostly enjoyed being a model.  Aiden wasn't too crazy about the chilly weather we were experiencing, but he was quite the little trooper.  He's just learning to walk on his own and really isn't a fan of walking through the grass, so some of our ideas didn't really work out.  It was quite the challenge to get a good shot of the three cousins together, but we caught a couple.  We'll try again when Aiden visits in August - hopefully we'll have more luck then!
